Second Spring Weekend Class 2008
BEADED PENDANTS	intermediate skill level	March 28 - 30, 2008
Using peyote stitch we will bead round hand made glass buttons. Then we attach embellishments and a cord. The buttons which I obtain are all individual.


	Here are our intended courses for the second half of the year. If you have an interest in a craft or item which is not listed or have a date more suitable for you please contact us. We can be very flexible and offer tailor-made courses especially for you.

Full week courses 2008:
VICTORIAN RETICULES	intermediate level	April 20 - 26, 2008
We will use a variety of stitches including netting to make a wonderful purse like those seen in the Victorian era. A great opportunity to be creative.
MAY FREE FORM PEYOTE	all levels	April 27 - May 3, 2008
Develop this stitch to form either a necklace or a 3D item.
BEADED JEWELLERY	for beginners	May 11 - 17, 2008
Just what it says in the box
BEADED BOOK COVERS	all levels	May 18 - 24, 2008
Learn all the basic book making techniques and then bead an individual cover. If you prefer you can make your cover using a textile technique.
MACHINE EMBROIDERY	for the beginner	June 8 - 14, 2008
This is a class for those who want to know how to get started to produce all those lovely textures. To know how to use many of the new products on the market. All you need is a sewing machine.
EXOTIC MASKS	for more experienced machine embroiderers	June 23 - 28, 2008
A class for those experienced in Machine Embroidery.
MIXED MEDIA	come and play with new products, all levels	July 6 - 12, 2008
A chance to try out all the new products and have fun finding out what you can create to make a very different wall hanging.

BOOKMAKING	all levels	August 9 2008
Learn all the basic book making techniques. then using hand or machine embroidery create beautiful covers.

GOLD WORK	for the more experienced	September 21 2008
Extend your knowledge and skill of all the goldwork techniques. Follow your interests to create an individual piece of work.
FELTS BAGS	all skill levels	October 5 2008
Make your own felt and turn it into a beautiful bag
SLASHING AND LAYERING	all levels	October 12 2008
Come and see what wonderful and exciting textures are created when you combine fabrics and layer and slash them.
GETTING READY FOR CHRISTMAS	all levels	November 1 2008
Bead and textile projects
AMULET PURSES	intermediate	November 23 2008
Amulet purses were made by the American Indians to hold a treasure or a secret. We will use either brick stitch or peyote stitch to create a little purse then embellish it with a fringe and a cord.
MACHINE EMBROIDERY 3D FORMS	all levels	December 7 2008
Create bowls, vases and bookcovers using dissolvable film and exotic fabrics.
